Artist bio
Miranda Cammelot is a fine arts photographer living and working in Chicago and its suburbs. She is expected to graduate from the American Academy of Art College in 2023 with a BFA in photography. Having documented lots of her childhood through the lens of her family’s point-and-shoot camera, her passion has defined itself. She primarily works with film photography and darkroom printing but she is no stranger to digital photography. Miranda’s talents are executed across different mediums including traditional and digital photography, as well as typography, bookbinding, screen printing, and production work.
Miranda has been featured in three photography exhibitions and one graphic design exhibition held at the American Academy of Art College in collaboration with other upcoming artists. She was awarded ‘Best in Show’ in the photography exhibition, in the fall of 2022. She will also be in a group show Open Windows, with several emerging artists in Chicago, opening in late May 2023.
